question for those w/ 2 under 2: were you able to avoid getting 2 cribs? DD will be 21 months when the new baby arrives, and we are planning on using the cosleeper for the little for the first 4 months or so. Is it feasible to move DD to a bed when she is just over 2 yo? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

DS has been in a twin bed since he was 16 months old - he never really liked or slpet well in the crib. DS #2, may well go into a twin bed at 12 months as we don't have room for a crib. [ Reply | More

yes, that's what we did. Used the pack-n-play for first eight months (dc were 15 mos apart) and then moved older dc to bed when she was 2 yo and put younger in the crib. It was fine. [ Reply | More

A friend gave me a hand-me-down crib. Kids 18 mos apart. My kids liked sleeping in their cribs and stayed there until they were 4, which was great b/c their room is tiny. [ Reply | More
