Can someone help with transition to big kid bed for my 2 y/o .. we have been living for the last 2 mos in an apt while waiting to close on a new house. She has been sleeping in pack and play for whole time. Once we get into the house we plan on getting her into a twin bed because we have #2 on the way and need the crib starting in September and figured it would be a clean transition for her since she hasn't slept in the crib for 2 mos. DD switched at around age 2. We just took down the crib, put up the bed and put her in it. She tried getting out a few times and we just told her "it's night time--time to stay in bed & sleep" the first time out. Any time after that we didn't talk, just walked her back & put her in bed.
