what do you think would be a better trip for a 6 and 8 year. A trip to Ecuador, Peru and the Galapagos islands (on a boat for a week) or a trip to Israel and Egypt (also on a boat on the nile) do you think kids will get israel at that time. I've never been to either places. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

hard call, but i think egypt. you get off teh boat every day, and the pyramids, temples, etc are prettty cool for kids that age. the other one could bore them to death unless they are really into nature [ Reply | More

ITD - Egypt is hard to travel in and they probably won't get the significance of Israel. The Galapagos Islands, on the other hand, would be GREAT with kids. [ Reply | More

I'm dying to take our kids. I saw a documentary on that place on the Discovery Channel (I think it was on Discovery) ...it's one of the top theme parks in the country, very well run and I think WAY better than Disney [ Reply | More
