when dd outgrows crib, what should she sleep in? straight to regular bed or is a toddler bed necessary? in fact, what is a toddler bed? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

toddler bed is generally a waste. same mattress as crib, sits low to floor, no real rails like crib. [ Reply | More ]

We put ds in toddler bed (which is just a small bed with same mattress size as crib) but at 2.7yo he already looks big in it. Good idea I heard is to get a twin bed matress and use that on the floor until dc is big enough to manage climbing in/out of a twin bed. [ Reply | More ]
