How long would let 6mo cry it out for before going in? and i mean, screaming. reason i ask is db seems to be getting MORE upset once we go in and then leave and it's like starting all over. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

don't go in and then leave. either pick him up or just stay out. i really think that's the only way to go. it's horrible horrible horrible to listen to your kid cry, but after a couple nights, it stops and you ahve a kid who sleeps thru the night. if you or your son are not ready for this, then put it off for another month. i did it when my dd was 8 mos and when my son was 11mos, but every kid/parent is different.
