fed on demand. baby wise has been linked to failure to thrive, the author is not a dr.--google and you'll find some info. Personally, i think newborns should not be put on a schedule. [ Reply | More

Would never consider "scheduled" feed till 6 mo or so & only then for solids. Don't think people have scheduled feeding for newborns since the 1940s [ Reply | More

i scheduled feed my ds, it worked. i wasn't an overstrick scheduler though, i would of classified it as "flexible scheduler" [ Reply | More

Fed on demand. Feeding a newborn on a schedule basically means that you are going to be ignoring his/her cries for food. I couldn't do that if I wanted to. [ Reply | More

even if you schedule feed i would alway feed if child was hungry. i just like the idea of getting the dc on a schedule and knowing what to expect [ Reply | More
