Found 3 month old DD in her swaddle on her tummy in her crib after her morning nap. Can I put her to sleep on her tummy? I assume I have to stop swaddling her? Any advice appreciated. TIA. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

How's her neck strength? Some babies are just tummy sleepers, no matter what they say. I'd keep an eye on her for a while and see if she does it again. If she's going to be rolling I'd stop swaddling since her arms help her keep her head up, but if it's just a fluke I wouldn't give it up yet. I love swaddling! [ Reply | More ]

thanks - i just tried putting her in a sleep sack and that was a total disaster, so I am going to put her back down in swaddle and watch over the next few days [ Reply | More ]
