11mo still uses binky for naps and sometimes at night, as well as occasionally in dire circumstances like on planes, etc. Should I be weaning him off of it at 1 yo? That was the timeline I always had in my head but now I'm not sure why... he doesn't even have a single tooth yet... [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

we didn't take away until 3. it was easy b/c we just had the paci fairy come and leave a gift. she only used it for naps &at night and barely used it, but it was a security thing so definitely didn't harm her in any way. [ Reply | More

^^^i think its a security thing with my ds. its goes right along with his puppy. im looking at post above and maybe its not such a bad thing. he has huge vocabulary and his teeth are fine [ Reply | More
