Work Related Help: Just got a call from the head of a new company I am working on a contract basis with. It is a temp to perm position. She was angry because one of the employees mentioned to her that I told her I would be 'going permanent on Monday'. I didn't exactly say that, but I have been fielding questions for weeks about my role, hours and had to push off tasks I was being given and explain that 'i would get to them when I was full time which should not be long now'. Tried to explain this, now think job hangs in the balance. What can I do and why is this such a big deal [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]
