Monistat question: so, we were out of the country last week, and I developed a yeast infection- haven't had one in years. I went to local pharmacy but didn't recognize any of the meds, so I used yogurt- seemed to help but not get rid of it. Got home yesterday and picked up monistat, and when I put it in at bedtime- YEEOWWWW! It made me soooo incredibly itchy- and the burn. Holy Mother. I looked at the "warnings" and it says it can increase symptoms "minorly", but that was ridiculous. Anyone btdt? Wondering if I'm allergic to the cream or if it's a normal side effect. this happened to me too- if you google Monistat and reactions you'll see that it's pretty common. I have never had this problem with any other brand- not sure what's different w/Monistat [ Reply | More
