moms w/ db's in daycare -question about morning routine-how do you get db out of the house? Do you take them there while they are asleep; do you take them there just in time for a feeding or do the feeding at home? I go back to work in less than 2 weeks and am overwhelmed just thinking about how we're going to get out of the house and into the city every day. tia. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Mine wasn't in dc until age one. However, now have a 2 yo-and it is a hassle. It must be pretty easy to pack up the baby & go [ Reply | More ]

We have a 6mo and kind of let her schedule dictate our behavior. Some mornings she's up early, I bf her, dress her, play with her and then get going. When she sleeps late, dh gives her a bottle, changes her and he takes her to daycare. When she sleeps really late, dh just transfers her into her bucket car seat in her pjs and gives the lady at daycare her day clothes and bottle. One tip is to do as much as you can (lay out clothes, have bottle ready, etc.) the night before. Although it'll be crazy at first, it will become second nature. [ Reply | More ]

op: that sounds exactly how I am imagining it's going to be. thank you for sharing your routine. I have been advised to get everything together the night before - makes perfect sense! [ Reply | More ]
