he's a little young yet for 123, but it's good to get and read while you can (before db). karp's book is great at helping you understand ds' mindset and how best to respond. plus, breathe in and breathe out. ita with the pp who said patience. it's really hard to multitask with a 2 y/o, imho. get's better (in terms of multitasking at least) at 3. I know. These years are precious yada yada yada. I really do believe that. I am trying TO HARD not to battle a 2 year old. But I get so sucked in. He fights me on everything. Naps, bed, diaper changing, transitions, tooth brushing. It is so FREAKING exhausting. [ Reply | More

see if you are giving dc enough freedom i let my 2 yo make choices (I gave him the choices) you can nap in big mommy daddy bed or in your bed, you can eat yogurt or cheese it wan't always easy and we had our conflicts but he loved the power of choice. Try hard not to argue with them if they won't make a choice make it for them and stick to it! [ Reply | More
