Is it worth it to accompany DH on bus trip to west coast and have just a weekend together? With two DCs along too. DH has one meeting and we could all stay and have fun. Leave Fri and return Mon. What do you think? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

There is lot's of fun things to do with dc's in Sf. Exploratorium, Alcatraz, Fishermans Wharf, SF zoo ( although they had that tiger prob there) [ Reply | More

not with the kids. i'd leave them behind (if this is a possibility, of course) or not go. when my now 11 y.o. was 2, my dh went on a week long trip to the west coast and since i had a friend out there who i wanted to see, i was able to leave my dd with my mom and then my in-laws for the week (they shared duties!) i went with dh and had so much fun. i just think for a short trip like that, it can be tiring with (and for) young children.
