Need to potty train almost 3 year old boy by the end of august. I would like to just get it done this weekend. He likes to wear Thomas briefs and pees on the potty but wont poop. HELP!!! We have to get this done for a variety of reasons. Please don't tell me to wait until he is ready - because he is ready. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

not so much afraid. just wont do it. he likes sitting n the potty in general and we can get him to grunt a make poop sound, but he never poops. I feel like if we can just get past this hump he'd be potty trained [ Reply | More

Have you tried letting him go in a diaper while sitting on the potty? Just put the diaper under him but don't close the tabs. [ Reply | More

watch him carefully and race him to the potty when you see him getting started to poop. after he goes the first time be crazy with praise and take him to buy a toy. if you absolutely have to have this done, be prepared for lots of accidents, which is okay. [ Reply | More

We have tried to do this but he will hold it for days if he know we are watching him - or he sneaks away and then does it. We are prepared for accidents and have had many already and I can remain calm about it - but I am frustrated. [ Reply | More
