not familiar with Jewish customs...but my Southern WASP family gave gifts and would have thought money was crass. Everyone from dh's Polish Catholic family from Ohio gave money. I would give what you can afford, between $100 and $200. But we had distant relatives who were elderly and probably on a fixed income give as little as $10...it's the thought that counts [ Reply | More ]
