Tips for dealing with my whiny 4 yo ds? Also, he recently stopped wanting to go to school. He used to love to go. It's a lovely sweet school and I don't think he's getting bullied or anything. What's up with that? Is this a stage kids commonly go through? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Is he in school over the Summer? Try and ask why not like school? It is probably something small and isolated. Ask do you like your friends? Your teachers? Recess? Lunch? etc and then hopefully he will see how much he likes or let you know what is bothering him. [ Reply | More ]

It's camp, but it's in his regular school. [ Reply | More ]

REmember counselors are not teachers. Camp has much less structure than school, could be reacting to these issues. [ Reply | More ]

Actually, the counselors at his camp are the teachers from the school year. And the camp is pretty similar to school, only it seems a lot more fun (although it now has a new nap component which ds may not like). [ Reply | More ]
