The older started tearing up. I'm awful. I told them it's not going to happen...that the point is that we need to work through problems and that's what sibs need to do instead of calling each other stupid all the time. Still feel awful about it. [ Reply | More

my oldest sister was sent to live with her grandmother when she was 2 after her mother died. My father couldn't deal with being a single parent while finishing his residency and setting up private practice. She didn't come back to live with my/her dad until after he had remarried, 3 years later. I think my mother was already pregnant with my elder sister by then. [ Reply | More
