HELP! Traveling on a plane for the first time in 3 yrs. What can't I bring on my carry on? I want to take otc pain meds (for headaches), sun tan lotion? Are these allowed? Our bags will be picked up by the resort so I may not see our checked bags for a while once I'm at the resort. Tx [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Any liquid needs to be in a container that is 3oz or less (larger containers that are partially used are not allowed). All liquids need to be able to fit into a 1 quart size baggie. One 1 quart bag is allowed per person. This is known as the 3-1-1 rule. [ Reply | More

You can have larger containers with liquid - but those would need to be in bags that are checked. The 3-1-1 rule only applies to carry on bags [ Reply | More

thx again. I'm just concerned about the carry on since I get headaches constantly (am pg) and want to be able to have my meds with me..and also some sun tan lotion for when we land since our bags will not be with us for a while. [ Reply | More
