DB is in so much pain right now screaming b/c of first year molars. we can see them, it looks awful. anyway, already gave motrin four hours ago, would tylenol help at this point or do we just need to wait another 2 hours and give more motrin. TIA [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

You can stagger tylenol and motrin if pain is really bad. [ Reply | More ]

does tylenol really help with pain? if so, how do you do it? do you do it every 3 hours? like motrin at 3, tylenol at 6, motrin at 9, tylenol at 12? [ Reply | More ]

no, he gets really upset when you try to put anything in his mouth, especially at night. i can barely get medicine in his mouth. it's so sad. [ Reply | More ]

Yeah, something like that. You basically want to give one when the other's starting to wear off. And I think tylenol absolutely takes the edge off the pain. [ Reply | More ]

ok, i gave him some tylenol now. i'm just wondering if he's awake again exactly 6 hour from when i gave motrin again if i can give him more even though that will only be 1 1/2 hours since he was last given tylenol. he's NEVER been this miserable. normally when he teeths he wakes up a lot, but is pretty easy to get back to sleep. now he's screeching when one of us isn't inthere with him. right now my DH is on duty.
