Dd's friend from pre-k/day care has the same birthday as dd. The family also lives in our co-op. We have spent time with them and enjoy their company but are not good friends (yet?). Would it be strange to propose a joint birthday party for the girls? Their parties and guests would probably overlap anyway. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

i don't think it'd be strange... the worst that can happen is that she'll say she already has other plans for her kids birthday. no biggie- mention away! [ Reply | More ]

i'd ask her if she had given any thought to her dd's birthday party and then see if she suggests something. [ Reply | More ]
