my 5mo DD is asleep in her crib on her belly... Is that bad? She's not going to die or anything, right? I put her in there for a few minutes while I went to answer the door (she's pre-crawling, so she likes being up on her elbows a lot) and when I came back, she had fallen asleep. How long is SIDS a risk? I don't want to wake her up and make a big production of flipping her over, cause she'll never stay unless she's swaddled, and I want her to nap... This is fine, right? we started tummy sleeping our ds at 4 mo, for naps and at night. he slept so much better and seemed calmer all around. we all survived sleeping the same way. make sure it's a hard surface, no blankets, etc, she'll be fine [ Reply | More ]
