What is the difference between the 2007 bugaboo cameleon and the 2008 model? Albee online is selling the 2007 for $650, which is significantly cheaper than the 2008 model. TIA. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

We just bought the 2007 last week from Albee. There are several differences (easier handlebar locking mechanism, foam vs. air wheels, newer colors). The only one we were worried about was not getting the foam filled wheels but imagine our pleasant surprise when our 2007 came with the foam filled wheels! Remember that $650 doesn't include the tailored fabric though so you are really only saving $150. Definitely worth it though. [ Reply | More

Thanks. So the foam filled wheels are an 08 feature but you got them on the 07? What is the diff between foam and air and why do you see foam as better? The 08 has easier handlebar locking? Did you order it from the store or on-line? [ Reply | More

The air filled wheels have the potential for flats (although everyone we talked to never had this problem which is why we went ahead and bought the 2007). The 08 does have the easier handlebar adjustment and better colors. They don't have the 2007 in stock in store. You have to get it online. [ Reply | More
