Re: Giftedness. It is a real issue and a very serious one. However, it mostly affects truly gifted people, not the garden variety gifted. The gifted kids most people talk about here will do well in general. The ones that our society should be more aware of is the extremely gifted children who have real and serious issues to deal with in terms of education and their socialization. No they just don't like dealing with having to get up in the morning, having to sit at a desk etc. They are both very nice people but like their own company more than being forced into social situations. [ Reply | More
