Do you allow your nanny to take dc to a park all afternoon? I'm not talking Central Park where there are activities and grass to roam in. I am talking about your typical city park. I fear that our nanny is putting our dc in the stroll when dc starts to act up. I feel the nanny is putting herself before our child [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Sure, a park all afternoon is great. Why would you want her to keep DC at home? A stroller time-out for misbehavior is OK. More than 5 minutes in a stroller at a park unless it's lunch time or nap time is not OK. [ Reply | More

If it is 95 degrees like today I do think all afternoon in the park is too much for many kids. I would do a couple hours in the playground and then home, library, bookstore or other place with AC. [ Reply | More
