Just discovered that babysitter spent 3 hours on the internet one day last week, which means that DD must have been plopped in front of the tv. How would you discuss this with babysitter? I know she wasn't feeling well that day, but still... [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I appreciate that advice. I was pretty disappointed and am prone to speaking up right away, even if it isn't for the best. Maybe I'll see what happens on Monday, but it's hard to stay mum... [ Reply | More ]

She is an adult and I think would appreciate being treated like one. Of course you also appreciate her acting like one! But from experience I have found it best to give them the benefit of doubt or let the first time goofs slide. Then if it happens again I remind that I did not say anything the first time and it tends to make a bigger impact on them and shows that I am not overly critical or that it was just a one time goof.
