depends on the career/home situation -- is this the job of a lifetime and can I get good childcare? Then if you can take home $50,000+ after paying nanny, it's worth it. [ Reply | More ]

12 hrs a day for 5 days or 10 hrs a day for 6 days? Not enough money in the world. I would never be happy only seeing my child one hour a day assuming I don't have a commute. Rather eat beans & rice & have a real relationship with her. [ Reply | More ]

I do it for $120,000. I love my job and have done it for over 10 years. Sometimes I can slip out early, but some days it's longer. Most of the time weekends are off. [ Reply | More ]

I am struggling with this too. Have been offered a new job, and am in a total rut at my current one. The money at the new job isn't much different, but the job is so much more interesting and the potential for advancement is huge. The commute however, is 40 minutes longer than my current commute, and I am not sure that i am ready to put my career back first. Ugh! [ Reply | More ]
