Have you been to Franz Sigal park? It's at 158 and the Grand Concourse and has beautiful mature trees and wide lawns. (It's just up the hill from Yankee Stadium.) For playgrounds, try the nearby Joyce Kilmer Park (around 163 and the Concourse). The playground is at the north end of the park. [ Reply | More ]

They have the photo tagged. It's the playground for all children in the Bronx. Just roll your mouse over the image and the tag pops up. [ Reply | More ]

I can't get this with a Mac. Thanks for the info (not OP, but in the Bronx also). Bronx has more parkland per person than any other borough. [ Reply | More ]

Interesting--there's a playground in the Bronx named for Winston Churchill's mother (the American Jennie Jerome, from the family that Jerome Avenue is named after). [ Reply | More ]
