Taking train to Philadelphia tomorrow. Would it make sense to take my laptop so I can do work on the way there? Or is it more of a subway ride? TIA. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

nj transit? it's slightly better than the subway, and you have to switch in trenton to something that's more like the subway. unless you're taking amtrak, in which case, it's way better than the subway so take your laptop. [ Reply | More ]

Thanks for your response. Just looked into pricing, and I'm taking nj transit. Guess I'll leave the laptop at home. [ Reply | More ]

nj transit isn't that bad, it just gets crowded on the weekends - just get to the train station early so you can get your tickets at the machine and then go to the lower level using the stairs under the big board announcing the gates. there are small screens showing the gates down there too and you will avoid the mad rush on the upper level. gl.
