not flaming but curious why it matters to you. I had 2 C sections and never seriously considered a vbac. OB said repeat C was the safest thing so I said ok [ Reply | More ]

same here. Plus, with the second one, having a scheduled C means less stress for you and your firstborn because you can plan ahead for their care and know exactly when you'll be out of commission, etc. [ Reply | More ]

OR I really just don't get the fascination to do a vbac. It is more risky - although in most cases I know not much. I guess I just didn't really care about my birth experience. I just wanted a healthy baby the easieset way possible [ Reply | More ]

I think your options depend a lot on where you live and who your docs/midwives are. I'm in Northern New England and many local reputable hospitals which I have used for my births or day surgeries simply do not offer it. You have to go to Maine MEd or Dartmouth Hitchcock. But if you are in a city and/or hooked in with some good docs/midwives then you will probably have more options when the time is right. But now is not the time to think of such things. Just get well and enjoy your baby. [ Reply | More ]

What was the reason for your c section? I think a lot depends on that too. [ Reply | More ]
