Need some help with sizes for baby clothes. Seems like most clothes is labeled as 0-3, 3-6, 6-9...how does that "translate" to the real world. I am expecting in Sept so want to buy some clothes that will get the baby through the Winter (so like from 3-9 months). What size should I be looking at? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

It all depends on the size of your baby. My db's were big and wore 6 month clothing at 3 months old. [ Reply | More ]

Definitely wait until db is born because not all babies fit into those categories and some brands are not true to size. [ Reply | More ]

my older dc never wore anything smaller than 6 mos from birth and my younger dc wore only 0-6 until 9-10 mos ish. so hard to predict. i know it will be kind of chaotic after new db arrives, but may be worth it to wait to see how big dc is [ Reply | More ]

Just buy stuff for the newborn period--0-3 months in any brand except Petit Bateau which runs super small (buy 3 or even 6 month size in that--newborn size is for preemies and 1mo size fits for about a day, ime). You will get a ton of gifts and also will need to see what size db you have before ordering for the winter. [ Reply | More ]
