I need to see a psychiatrist, and want to go through my insurance as it is much cheaper. However, I am worried that this will ever be 'disclosed' in any way, and could effect my insurance if I ever change insurance companies, apply for jobs etc. Going through horrible breakup, and may need meds at some point if therapy does not work. Could this ever be used against me in any way or am I overthinking this? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I think you are probably overthinking. I don't believe they can use the fact that you sought help agianst you and of course whatever you discuss would be confidential [ Reply | More ]
