Formula at nite before bed? A lot of friends/family are suggesting a bottle of formula for 11 wk old ds before bedtime to get him sleeping thru the nite. We are down to one feeding at nite but it would be great if we could completely eliminate. Any thoughts? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

didn't work for us. also, with only one feeding per night, you are doing great and very lucky at 11 weeks pp. i wouldn't mess with success. [ Reply | More ]

My baby started sleeping through the night at 7.5 weeks. Yes I consider myself very lucky but before she started doing so, i noticed she would be half asleep when feeding at night. So when she would cry at night I would pick her up and rock her back to sleep. I only did it for a few nights before she began to sleep through the night on her own. [ Reply | More ]

dh often gets up and does the middle of the nite feed and he will take almost 4 oz. wen i do the feed it is a dreamy feed and he's back down in 20 or so. just can't tell if he's really hungry but from amount he takes from bttl i would think so [ Reply | More ]

this is what I did with both of my dds (who were both FF and BF) and the formula kept them full longer. [ Reply | More ]
