please help me list reasons in favor of putting my 2yo dd in daycare (full time) while i work. i have been a sahm since she was born and she has been in daycare off and on 2-3 hours at a time. i feel really guilty. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

are you going back to work full time? you should plan in extra sick days at first, because she'll pick up everything -- but ultimately that's good for her immune system. [ Reply | More

My 2 yo is very happy at day care. She is there part time and loves playing with her friends and all of the activities. I like that she gets the social interaction. I also love it now since she is talking and tells me everything that goes on during the day. [ Reply | More

Providing for your dd sometimes involves money for college, your own retirement, etc. And if you WOHM now and save $ you will have more flexibility when she is older and more aware. If you SAHM it is not necessariy better for her in the long run. [ Reply | More
