Sometimes I think he has some valid points...I'm in NYC where everyone has the same very Liberal view, it's nice to hear something different. But sometimes I think he sounds like an idiot. I can listen to that before NPR. [ Reply | More

LOL! I like you! I listen to everything to try to get all sides too. I think Rush is a great motivational speaker. I think he is politically very astute (whether you agree with him or not, if he makes a prediction, it's usually pretty good) I think when he starts talking about cultural issues, he sounds like an old fart though. Yes, I do find him entertaining, I don't like bashing anyone's views but sometimes it's hard not to laugh at some of stuff he puts out there, and he does have a good sense of humor. I can't stand listening to Sean Penn or Jeaninne Garfalo, they sound so serious about everything. On the other hand, Al Franken books have me howling, even if I don't agree with him, oh, and so does Ann Coulture (sp?). [ Reply | More

I love love love Ann Coulter! She cracks me up (even though I agree with her only sometimes. Other times she scares the crap outta me!) I really like listening to pretty much anyone who is clever regardless of whether I agree with them or not. There was a woman on Air America in the morning, Rachel something I think. She was fun. The best thing Rush has done lately though is using Snerdly (who I always assumed was not a real person) to be the official critic of Obama since Snerdly is also black. Have you heard any of that? really, that's not so bad, how do you know it wasn't me she called the name...I responded with the liking of Rush, but I made a Franken refernce so maybe she felt torn. Coulter is scary, but funny, I hated the "911 wives" stuff, it bothered me, but they all have to take some kind of extreme stand to get Radio shows and Book deals. ITA. I actually lost all respect for Coulter when she said she believed in creationism and not evolution. Oh well. SHe is still entertaining. I though the 9/11 wives stuff was kind of tacky too, even if she did have a small point. I find that in NYC if you don't agree with all Liberal Views you'll have them screaming at you in a bar, violently. I'm a cop in NYC I'm usualy talking with people who have never been above 86th Street or traveled on the subway outside of Manhattan. [ Reply | More

I usually just keep my mouth shout, because there is no changing anyone's mind. It is all dependent on your life experiences, I used too be pretty liberal, but it suited my life style and what I wanted to believe. Now my experiences are so different it has changed my views a lot! I am glad I can identify with both sides, but I know my opinions are a minority so I keep my mouth shut, I don't feel the need to win an arguement or be right with strangers, I have a husband and a boss for that.
