So, when you nursed her she was able to conk out? Mother's milk is magic. It will be your most powerful parenting tool for this year. Let her snuggle to your body. She's just getting used to being outside you. Keep her close as much as you can. Even people who push sleep-training don't start till 4 mos. Do you have a good sling? [ Reply | More ]

What if you prop up one end of the crib so baby isn't lying flat? [ Reply | More ]

My db was like this. He had to be on or next to someone 24/7. During the day we just held him. At nigt, we put him in a cosleeper in our bed and one of always kept a hand on him. He outgrew it at 6 wks. It was absolutely exhausting but in retrospect, I'm glad I stuck it out instead of leaving him to cry. [ Reply | More ]

just hold her. she's too young to be left to cry. she'll get to where she likes to be put down for a little longer each time as the days go by. but for now, just hold her in your arms in a big comfy chair with the television on. you need the rest as much as she does. [ Reply | More ]

awww...it will get better. I agree with poster above Right now, just do what you can, make yourself as comfortable as possible and hold her, she is too young to let cry. Just know that you will get through the next few weeks and things will get better. [ Reply | More ]

put her in her carseat. when my dd was that age it was the only place that she would sleep. she slept in her carseat for 2 months. the doctor said it was fine. i would keep it next to my bed and rock it from bed when she cried. [ Reply | More ]
