Frustrated. My 2 y.o. is going through a terrible sleeping phase. It's a convergence of many things: her older siblings' schedules, new sleeping arrangements, molars coming in. I know it will get better but I made the mistake of complaining to a friend with only one two y.o. and she told me I needed to "lay down the law and get her to bed earlier." I very nicely explained that life is different w/3 than it is w/one but she wouldn't accept that some things are beyond your control (or not worth taking control over?) and acted like I am a slacker mom who is getting what I deserve. op: i'm actually very structured in normal life. but we've had a lot going on b/t visitors and work on the house and neighborhood parties right outside our house. like i said, i know it will pass but i just hate when people act like i'm being too loose - prob b/c i am very structured when i can be.
