you can do just about everything except stomach stuff. I worked with a trainer for the only time in my life while pregnant. Three months after giving birth I was in better shape than before I got pregnant. [ Reply | More ]

^^just be very careful not to hyperextend your joints. Pregnancy hormones will make you more flexible-- nature's way of preparing your hips to spread for giving birth. [ Reply | More ]

May I ask what exactly you do and for how long? I too would like to do this but have not worked out - really ever. [ Reply | More ]

i dont have much of a plan. light cardio, lunges, bicep and tricep curls, step ups. i may try to meet with a trainer to outline a prenatal program - basically i'm still trying to recover from #1. and not doing so well at it. [ Reply | More ]

doable, but you have to be smart about it and not overdo it. I worked out throughout my pg with my 2nd, and my recovery was pretty easy. my ob actually showed me how to do certain exercises and gave me guidelines on wt limits so as not to strain myself. she did say you could continue to do ab work until about 24 wks, so long as it was on a ball. prenatal yoga also helps (love mia at lila wellness) [ Reply | More ]
