At what age would you put a kid in the top bunk? Is 4 too young (w/guard rail)? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I think that is the recommended age due to lawsuits. You have to know our child a five year old is absolutely capable of sleeping in top bunk and my friends four you old dd had no problems either [ Reply | More ]

fine, unless your 4yo has a habit of getting up often at night. We had to with ours at 4 because dcs had to share a room that only fit a bunk bed [ Reply | More ]

Our 4yo never had a problem in the top bunk. You could leave a "crash pad" of pillows etc. on the floor for the first while if you are worried. [ Reply | More ]
