I heard that Martha Hirschman (DOA at Grace) was leaving. Is this true? If it is true, does anyone know who the new DOA is? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

leaving by choice or forced out? We interviewed there last year, and I found her totally underwhelming -- it seemed like she was on auto pilot the whole time. She was actually so off-putting in her lack of enthusiasm for the job or the school that we pulled our application. [ Reply | More

Martha is well-liked at Grace and did a great job at placement of 8th graders as well as in admissions. She really expanded diversity at Grace. She is moving on to become assistant head at Hewitt. New admissions director is Margery Ston who comes from the Alexander Robinson School. [ Reply | More
