Private preschool (they're all private, aren't they?) - still felt that too many families left or did their own thing on weekends. Burbs we feel we know everyone, kids are always around friends. Transition was rough initially though. [ Reply | More

Went off with other friends or by themselves- NYC is a big place, so you never saw them. In burbs, we run into people at the supermarket, at the pool, in the park, etc. [ Reply | More

Not in NYC. I work PT out here. That was another factor in leaving - too stressful to constantly juggle both my schedule and DHs - who would come home for nanny, who had to be in early for a meeting. Much less stressful now. [ Reply | More
