daycares are supposed to call parents if this happens. at least this is what our daycare has told us after my kids were bitten or bit other kids. [ Reply | More ]

Sorry about the bite but don't expect reason or rationality from babies. [ Reply | More ]

i know but i asked my dd and that's the reason she gave me. very odd that bellybutton flashing could enrage anyone! [ Reply | More ]

Ok but don't expect a thorough reporting of anything from a 19 month old. [ Reply | More ]

i think it's interesting that you are using the word "enrage" to describe a 16 m.o. feelings or even assuming that your dd showing her belly button was definitely the cause of the biting rather than just a coincidence. a 16 m.o. doesn't associate the horror with biting that all parents seem to. it's really no more aggressive than hitting or kicking but for some reason parents freak out about it as if it is the worst thing a kid can do. and no - my kids have never bitten anyone (other than each other.)
