Does anyone have experience with Allison Boester, Wenhui Jin, Jane Kauffman or Susan Loeb-Zeitlan at Cornell 72nd street? Desperate to find an new OB so any feedback on this office would be great! [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Dr Jin is my ob/gyn and I have been very happy with her (and the rest of the practice although I dn'). I was on db #2 when I saw Dr Jin so didn't need too much support from her. When I did have problems both with the pg and billing etc she was incredibly helpful. [ Reply | More ]

Dr Jin delivered my second baby. (She wasn't my OB, though) I really liked her. I thought she was really smart and efficient and supportive in the delivery room. [ Reply | More ]

How is the support staff? Trying to get someone to answer the phone and talk to me like a human being at my current gyn is a nightmare so I want to make sure I have a really responsive office for my ob. [ Reply | More ]

I really don't know b/c my OB is in another practice altogether. Jin and her team just share the delivery room coverage at the hospital. [ Reply | More ]

I was OR. No probs phoning the practice. The woman on the front desk comes across as a bit rude but she is actually fine just ignore her rudeness. [ Reply | More ]

One other question on these guys - I'll be in the higher-risk category and want a lot of tests. Are these guys the type to be open to it? [ Reply | More ]

lol. I was low risk and felt tested to death! I'm not american and find the healthcare here over the top thorough! I'm pretty sure you would feel in good hands with this practice. GL [ Reply | More ]

I had some complications, and I found that ALOT was overlooked by Dr. Boester because she is, in fact, so laid back. I'm not saying she's a bad doctor, but you have to educated yourself on every topic thoroughly & you have to be your own advocate with her. [ Reply | More ]

Dr. Boester was recommended to me by my OB friends who used to practive in NYC or who still do but not in private/group practice, etc. [ Reply | More ]

Dr. Boester has been my doctor for a year now. She delivered my baby 8 months ago - I loved my experience with her during delivery - she did my c-section. [ Reply | More ]

I had Dr. Boester and thought she was mediocre. Decent personality, and laid back but I was lucky to have someone else covering when I went into the hospital and had the most amazing delivery by Dr. Hockstein(who no longer takes insurance). The staff is responsive on the phone--never had a problem with that. I can not believe how grimy their offices are! [ Reply | More ]
