You should check out www.BabyGoodness.net for diaper bags. They have some pretty good looking diaper bags. I'm not sure if they are making messenger style bags or not, but their contact info is on the page. They also have burp cloths, bibs, and onzies. Looks like they've started doing book bags and crayon bags. The company is actually called Baby Goodness Boutique and they embroider on all their products.
