imo, i think you should circumcise, but know that a lot of times the OB does it, and our ob did our sons and think he messed it up [ Reply | More

36 weeks as well, we decided we will circumcise. Got tons of flames on UB for this, because my husband did have more of a say in it because I never thought of it either way, and he was adament about wanting it. [ Reply | More

I circumcised. But if you are not sure, don't do it. You can always circumcise later. But reversing a circumcision is more difficult and takes much more time. [ Reply | More

when? you can't wait too long!!! I know someone who had to have their little boy's circumcision "redone" b/c they didn't take off enough the first time. Apparently it wasn't so easy to bring him back in, for her or for him (and this was a years later...) [ Reply | More

i had an uncir'd partner, kind of grossed me out actually. i kept wondering what kind of stuff was fermenting in that enclosed humid foreskin all day. one would like to think a guy would practice good hygiene, but i've never come across one. i think circumcision might have come as a necessity cuz men are SOOO lazy, even about their own maintenance. a dh: I'm circ'ed. Neither of my sons were at birth but #2 had to be at 6 months. (He hydronephrosis and a megaureter and was getting UTIs. If a male has a healthy urinary tract, this is a non-issue.) It is no where near as big a deal for the kids as we parents make it for ourselves/each other.
