construction guys working in lot behind me cut down a tree of mine that was on MY side of the fence. not trimmed the branches, cut the WHOLE thing down! i'm so pissed! it was 2 stories tall! what can i do??? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

The owner of the lot is responsible. He hired the contractors. They are his agents. He can then claim over against them, but your best bet is to go straight to the owner of the lot, tell him what happended, and ask him to reimburse you for the cost of replacing the tree. First you should contact a nursery and get a quote on the replacement for a "mature" tree. [ Reply | More ]
