Feeling so down about sleep and schedules. Can someone help me? We are doing sleep training with 4.5m/o (upon rec of doctors). So far, the training itself is going well, and at night he sleeps w/o crying. But it hasn't stopped his night wakings or the early morning rise (at 5:30am). We need for him to share a room with dc #1, but we can't do it if he's up so early. Will the sleep lengthen eventually? Is there anything we can do (like putting him down earlier/later)? TIA. I think at 4.5 mo this is about what you can expect. It's a rough time. How much is he up at night? I think my dd was up for 2 feedings until she was almost 6 months, then it was down to one, and she slept later. [ Reply | More ]
