LOVE HER!! She has been my doctor for nearly 10 years. She delivered my DD in March and she was absolutely fantastic, so supportive and reassuring-a true superstar with the birth. She is excellent about responding to phone calls if you call with questions throughout your pregnanyc or befoer and after. Great bedside manner. Anything else I can tell you? [ Reply | More ]

Dr. Hedley is really great. She actually sits with you and goes over every concern or detail of your test with you. My sis is an OB and loves her and Kurt Christopher (the other partner). I see them bothe (whoever is on) and am happy. I'm pg with #3 [ Reply | More ]

I was the one who said she misdiagnosed me. She totally did. This may be too much info, but I had some "blemishes" which she thought was a herpes outbreak. Tested me for herpes and gave me antiviral medication. 2 wks later, no word from her, so I called her office and was told by the receptionist that the herpes test was negative. She never called to tell me that and to tell me to stop the medication. Nor did she call to see if the problem was resolved. I had the same problem a few months later and went to see my derm instead who looked at it, said no way was it herpes, and then tested it and found it was a staph infection. I also waited 2 hrs for an appt with Dr. Patrick with no apology or even acknowledgement of the delay from her. She seems like a nice person, but I would go to someone else. I now see Laura Schiller who is smart, responsive, and follows up with phone calls. [ Reply | More ]

^^^ She seems like a nice person, but I wouldn't use her for an OB. I now see Laura Schiller who is wonderful. [ Reply | More ]

well that's not a good story for sure. i am going to meet her and maybe one more OB and decide. maybe i will stick with my current OB, but i can't take the 2 hour waits, with, as u say, no apologies. and with her it's not just once, but EVERY TIME. ugh. [ Reply | More ]

Surprised to hear all that negative stuff about Dr Patrick. I have never had a problem and neither has my firend who is using her for db#2, but sounds like you have some good recommendations and I actually found the office was well run, well everyone has different experiences. Congrats and best of luck w/whoever you choose. I would look perhaps to docs at NY Cornell, I did not love Roosevelt, labor and delivery was great but post-partum nursing sucked, you will probably hear that from everyone. However, Roosevelt seems very popular these days and everyone I know had a great L & D experience. A lot of hospitals have poor post-partum staffing it seems. [ Reply | More ]
