There are 2 sides to this idea. Most say you absolutely should NOT prep because the tester will know it. (i.e. your dc will say "oh i know this game, i played it with mommy" and the testers do NOT like that). Others swear you should prep your kid with block and maze games, etc etc. Up to you to decide. You can never find them in stores or anything, but I'm told the blocks are red & white that you rotate to make a pattern. [ Reply | More ]

does anyone know what the testers will actually write in the report if they suspect prepping? Also, how will they know the difference between mom prepping & tutor prepping? [ Reply | More ]

It is an IQ test your dc either is or is not going to do well [ Reply | More ]

np: not necessarily true. There are other factors. Maturity is huge. So a child can have a IQ (confirmed later) and bomb ERB. I think the best prep is working with your child (doing whatever) but sitting down at a table and doing the task you say for 10 or 15 minutes a day. That is an issue that could affect (negatively) the ERB. So, I would practice that and just slowly increase the amount of time [ Reply | More ]
