Two years. Amount of baby weight lost: 10 lbs. 50 to go. Pathetic. Can't stay one a "diet" more than one day, be it WW or low-carb. Never was heavy before - can't imagine what's wrong with my brain. Anyone BTDT? Am thinking of trying another low-carb diet to kill my cravings... [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I love South Beach. Have been on it for 8 months, lost 42 pounds, now in maintenance. Can see staying on forever. It's not low carb. It's low sugar. The first two weeks are strict and kill craving, but thereafter, it's so healthy and a way of life. Plan is basically no white flour (use whole wheat) or sugar (can use subs). [ Reply | More ]

i am similar to you...i gained 60 during prgnancy and my dc is 2yrs old. i have 10 pounds to go and cannot lose it for the life of me but i am not being discilplined at all. what i did the first time around (and which totally worked) was eat well - not no carb (b/c it would make me crazy) and exercise - worked out 4 days a week (for 2hours a night). good luck to you- it was the hardest thing for me to do!
