My dd will be 5 yo in mid August. She got tested last week for admissions into kindergarten and they tested her IQ. She got a score of 140. I understand this is good, but is there anything I should be doing about it? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

and again, why would i be worrying about her IQ at the age of four?? I am more worried about her health, her feeling loved, her getting enough playtime with me, her sleep, her socialization, activities, reading to her. Why would I stop to think about her IQ? My friends have mentioned to me since she was 1yo that she was speaking very early and she started reading very early, but why would I obsess over that? She got tested as part of the admissions process...I never looked into IQ tests. [ Reply | More
